Yes, cross-country skiing is also possible in the Seetal: in the Naturarena im Moos near Leutwil, for example. The loop with some challenging climbs and descents leads first across an open landscape and then along the edge of the forest.
Or discover the cross-country ski trail on the Horben: whether skating or classic running - do your laps through the beautiful landscape. And if the day is not enough for you, you can even work off your energy on the illuminated night trail until 9.30 pm.
When it snows down to the lowlands, you'll find a little winter paradise at 800 metres above sea level. Above the Horben alpine inn, the small but fine ski lift is put into operation and the piste is prepared. Horben is often above the fog line in winter. Spend a few enjoyable hours sledging in the dreamy winter landscape of the Lindenberg.
If you fancy ice skating, curling or a game of hockey, you'll find everything your ice sports heart desires at the Iceline sports centre in Hochdorf. Rental equipment is available on site, by the way.
